Because I love many things

Years ago I decided to take up learning a new programming language, Ruby. I did in fact learn it and gain quite the understanding of it. All thanks to one man’s brilliant guide.

This book was Why’s (poignant) guide to ruby. It was brimming with brilliance, from satirical comics to off the cuff stream of consciousness. It made learning the language quite simple and entertaining _Why’s creativity abounded in the book. 

I found his comics more than inspirational.

It even inspired some of my many yet to be launched projects. With inspiration like that how do you thank someone? I guess you don’t, at least can’t not when they disappear.

Today Smashing Magazine wrote about the end of _why and his amazing antics. Well worth the read.
